Halloween .. “Day of the Dead” as in? …
so are you saying that Halloween is evil?
So what about the candy?
What about “ween” (which also means “child”)?
Halloween is a pagan custom where the villagers would go around and wake up the dead, that’s why it’s also called the day of the dead. Now once these spirits were risen, they would go about doing mischief, hence the terms “mischief night” or “devil’s night”. So imagine you have a town full of demons going about haunting the residents.. scary situation right? The neighbors would then leave candy and other treats to pacify the demons (hence “feast of the dead” or “day of the dead”) and ultimately sacrifice children so the demons would leave them in peace.
So today when your child dresses up as a demon, now you know why, and the reason they have to go door to door looking for candy is because the demons would travel to all the houses in the neighborhood looking for these “treats”.
Halloween is also derived from a festival worshiping the so-called “goddess of the earth” Hecate during a festival originally held on August 13. This demon is supposedly the mother of Wicca.

Thank you for this article, Brother. I was raised never to celebrate Halloween, and I never have. I remember being upset as a child because I couldn’t “dress up” and get candy with the other children, but this article put everything back into perspective.
This is a great article on “Halloween” sir! I remember when my parents told me I could’nt celebrate Halloween I got upset but as they explained it to me I could’ve cared less for the day when people dressed up as demons, worshiping Satan
and PRAISE YHWH THAT IM IN THE TRUTH!!!

Thawadah (thanks) to you as well, truth be told though that it isn’t rocket science that we are able to see that Halloween is wicked..no siree, now of course there are scriptures that people have never read before that we sometimes quote..but all you gotta do is look at what Halloween is about. Every Halloween, as long as I can remember watching the History Channel, they show the origins of Halloween.
There is NO WAY, someone can be familiar with the Bible and read about the worship of pagan gods (Baal etc.) and still want to celebrate Halloween unless you’re the biggest hypocrite on your block!
That’s why the Apostle Peter, upon whom Christ built his church said these words..
“5: For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:”
2 Peter 3:5
and again..

Let the truth be told about this pagan day Halloween! Its ludacris how Halloween is called a Holi-day. With our common knowledge we see that the prefix of Holiday is Holi and there is nothing Holi about the day of Halloween…Proverbs 1:22 How long will ye simple ones love simplicity.?!
