Pimps, Video Vixens, VH1’s I Love New York…..When will the steppin’ & fetchin’ end?
As I watched First Sunday featuring Ice Cube, Tracy Morgan and Kat Williams it was hard for me to really get into Kat’s character. His on going pimp persona throughout the movie did nothing for my funny bone nor made my mouth even to smile once. Really, he came off as an effeminate. But it’s only acting right. Why do so many of our brothers in Hollyweird have to take roles acting like or dressing up like women to make it? And furthermore, when did Pimps or acting like Pimps become so popular and mainstream? Pimps were always looked at as dirty rotten scoundrels and basemen throughout the community. Our parents and grand parents always told us to stay away from them and their kind. Now days, you can see them standing on stage during award shows and dancing around in your favorite artist’s music video. How did we let these criminals slip through the cracks and into our living rooms people?
Let’s take a moment to discuss Pimps, Pimp culture and the Pimp way of life. As I was reading my Bible today (smile) I came across something very interesting in the book of Ephesians 5:5. It reads: For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Now, the word that stuck out to me in this verse was the word whoremonger. Big Mama used to always say to me and my male cousins, don’t be whoremongering around with them fresh girls. And I would often hear from my family members that couples who live together without making their living arrangements or relationship public (i.e. a wedding ceremony) were whoremongers. So I decided to look the two words up (whore & monger) and here is what it said: whore – a woman who engages in promiscuous sexual intercourse, usually for money; prostitute; harlot. Then I looked up the word monger and here is what it said: monger – a dealer in or trader of a commodity; a person promoting something undesirable or discreditable. Then my common sense stepped in and I put two and two together. A whoremonger is a PIMP! And whoremongers don’t hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. So now I see why satan is pushing and promoting pimps and the pimp lifestyle within our communities, within our television shows and within our movies. Let us not forget that this is a wicked world. Just read 1 John 5:19 – And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. Although this is a very wicked world, God created the Negroes, West Indians, Haitians, Indians of North and South America and Latinos to be righteous. And God when he returns expects us to be righteous; read Matthew 5:48 – Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Since when did wickedness become cool and righteousness become uncool?
Now, let’s switch the focus to the ladies. More specifically the video vixens, beginning with the star of VH1’s I Love NY Tiffany “New York” Pollard. Is this what it has come down to for our black women to get shine on television? Let’s see who can be the biggest whore? Miss Pollard has problems. Her biggest problem is she can’t keep her legs or her mouth closed. Tiffany, just say no. Hell, VH1 just say no and cancel the show. Please! Next, I will list only the popular video vixens (music videos, groupies or internet) and then make my point. Let’s see, we have Karrine Steffans, Kim Kardashian, Vida Guerra, Buffy the Body and Carmen Jones. All women who have “used what they got, to get what they want.” But what happens when that pretty face and that voluptuous body start to age and things start to sag and all you have left is your brains to help you get what you want? You are going to wish you went about getting things the right way. In Proverbs 12:8 it states that “A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.” Ladies, the 15 seconds of fame that you are receiving now is only temporary. A man and a woman will be eventually commended because of the Wisdom they possess and we all know that the ultimate Wisdom comes from the Bible. Furthermore, the Bible also states in 1 Timothy 5:6 that “But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.” Eventually ladies, the video vixen, escort, stripping, groupie and promiscuous lifestyle is going to lead to death. There are a lot of Norman Bates psychos out there waiting for you to ladies. So please stop the madness ladies and rethink your lives and give some thought about becoming Virtuous Women as described in the book of Proverbs chapter 31.

Shalam sir, tawab report here. I think I’m the only person in my family that HATES that I Love NY crap. It should actually be humiliating to black people to see shows like that and The Flavor of Love and the way they embarrass us. I’m sorry but Flavor Flav is dumb as hell, programs like this are modern minstrel shows and is like people don’t even see it. People need to wake up! But only YHWH can save them from that gross darkness they’re in.

and for those rolling up their sleeves to accuse of ‘riotous language and spewing self hatred’..be still and hear the words of God!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Falva flav begin his character as a ‘conscious rapper’ trying to wake the masses stuck on “channel zero”.. if he didn’t consider himself a watchman over black people then why is he always wearing a clock around his neck? For his gain and his quarter.. You’re going to convince me Flav ain’t doing it for the $$$$ (financial gain)

Matthew 23:15 “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.”
The Pharisees were the religious leaders of our time, and Christ accused them of proselytizing people to make them more a child of hell than they were..
Which one of you accuse me of sin, for saying tha Flava Flav played himself out as a hypocrite for teaching ‘conscious rap’ (laced with mention of the Nation of Islam by the way) on one hand then turn around and chase Bridget (beat-down) Nelson on tv?
C’mon Flava, you can do better than that …boyeee.. don’t let these Edomites play you out beyond all shred of self respect, you an Israelite bro..pump that fist!
