Black History in the Holy Bible, does it matter?

If you really thought that adding an extra day to the month of February was going to be enough time to celebrate the greatness of our people you must be out of your mind. Black History is all year round and we are going to continue to speak about and celebrate it starting with this news column.

Everyone should be familiar with basic Black History and Black Inventors like Lewis Howard Latimer (inventor of the improved toilet system for railroad cars, Bell Telephone, and the carbon filament for light bulbs), Madame C.J. Walker (the first female, black or white, self-accomplished millionaire and beauty/hair care products entrepreneur), Elijah J. McCoy (inventor of the folding iron board, lawn sprinkler and a automatic lubricator for oiling the steam engines of locomotives and boats and where the term “the real McCoy” comes from) and Benjamin Banneker (inventor of the clock, Almanac and designer of Washington, DC). But are you familiar with the most important Black History? The Black History of the Holy Bible. If not, let’s get acquainted with the greatest people that ever walked this planet earth. And yes, they were Black.

Adam was black (Genesis 2:7), Moses was black (Exodus 2:1-10 & Exodus 4:6,7), Job was black (Job 30:30), King Solomon was black (Song of Solomon 1:5,6), Abraham, Isaac & Jacob were black (Isaiah 29:22), Jeremiah was black (Jeremiah 8:21), the real Jews are black (Jeremiah 14:2), the Angels are black (Ezekiel 1:1-7), the Apostle Paul was black (Acts 21:37,38,39) and the greatest man ever to set foot on this earth, Jesus Christ, was black (Revelation 1:14,15, Revelation 2:18, Daniel 10:5,6 and 1 John 4:1,2,3). Why does it matter? Because it’s the Truth and our people are tired of being lied to and spiritually, physically and mentally oppressed as well as mis-educated through this failing education system. Ecclesiastes 7:7 says, “Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.” There are a lot of young brothers and sisters out here who are wise and mad as hell; who are educating our people correctly. These brothers and sisters are tired of the gift of minimum wage jobs and integration and welfare and drugs. It’s time to wake up people. Wake up to the greatness of your History. Your True History is found right in the pages of the Holy Bible. Just pick it up and read it.

Until next time, I’ll leave you with Romans 13:11, it says “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” Email me with your comments at yawasap@mainstream-press.com. I check all of my emails and respond to every one. Thank you and Shalom.
