Is marriage still honorable among Black Celebrities?
The news headlines tell the story: Tisha Campbell-Martin and Duane Martin to separate; Michael Jordan, wife Juanita divorce after 17 years; Whitney Houston Files for Divorce from Bobby Brown after 14 years;Tracey Edmonds, wife of singer Babyface, files for divorce; R&B Singer Jill Scott to Divorce her husband of five years;Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Break Up .
What’s going on people? Why are so many celebrity black couples divorcing like it’s going out of style? Or maybe leaving your husband or your wife is in style? Why waste each other’s time if you are not going to stick with that person until death? Is not marriage honorable anymore? Hebrews 13:4. Yes, that’s right I’ve got to bring in the Word of God. Hebrews 13:4 also states that adulterers God will judge and there is a whole lot of adultery going on in Black Hollywood. Wife swapping, creeping around, sex with no strings attached, etc. First of all, according to the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ does not condone divorcement (Matthew 19:8)! Furthermore, God says what he brought together let no man put asunder (Mark 10:9). So, either these celebrities were not sincere when they got together in the first place (it was all about money, power and position) or they have no fear of God.
Why would you spend 5 years, 14 years, 17 years with someone and then decide that things aren’t working out? Let’s look at the generations of old for a minute. Abraham and Sarah were married until they died. They even had a child in their old age for those who think the fire goes out after 50. And you better believe our forefather Abraham didn’t need any pills to stimulate him either. What about Isaac and Rebekah? They were married until they died. And by the way, Abraham, Isaac, Sarah & Rebekah were all black! I thought that would get your attention. Now, let’s fast forward a little and take a look at Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee. Ossie was married for over 50 years to actress Ruby Dee until he died in 2005. Today that’s unheard of. 50 years of marriage is honorable and is to be commended. What about Bill and Camille Cosby? Let’s take a look at their marriage. Bill and Camille Cosby have been married for nearly 37 years and they are still together as we speak and both of them are wealthy. Even Will and Jada are still together, so there is no reason why Russell and Kimora and Jill and Lyzel and Babyface and Tracey and Bobby and Whitney and Michael and Juanita and Tisha and Duane couldn’t have worked out their differences and remained married. As we all know, children need both parents in the household. Has no one read Ephesians 5:25, where it states, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the Church, and gave himself for it.” What about Colossians 3:19 where it states, “Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.” And let us not forget the sisters and how the Bibles states in Ephesians 5:33, ” Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” Were these Bible verses not read at any of these couples’ wedding ceremonies? And for those sisters out there having a problem right now with a wife having to reverence her husband just let me say this, once you finally find a God-fearing, righteous man who is going to take care of you like Christ teaches a man to take care of his wife, then you will willingly reverence that man. Or be lonely, frustrated and angry and continue to write diaries.
One more thing, can we please get rid of all the “baby mommas” and “baby daddies” and turn them into husbands and wives. I think “husbands and wives” sounds so much better. Plus, you can’t make mockery or an asinine rap song about “husbands and wives.” But you can about “baby mommas and baby daddies.” And some of you actually danced to that song, didn’t you?
I hear the Kings of Comedy want to bring back Big Momma. I would rather you bring back Big Poppa, Pop Pop, Granddad; the man who made sure everybody stayed in line, put food on everybody’s tables and made sure that his marriage (to Big Momma) was honorable.

Powerful, and enlightening. All praise to the most High in Christ because this topic is right on the money. So Many of us are lost, and this proves that even our most successful brothers and sisters are confused when it comes to the rightous way to marriage because they have not known God.

The only successful marriages will be those of the brothers and sisters that are in the truth..
There are couples in the world that have been together for a long time, but they have missed the whole point of marriage.
“In three things I was beautified, and stood up beautiful both before God and men: the unity of brethren, the love of neighbours, a man and a wife that agree together.”
Ecclesiasticus 25:1
agree together in what? The scriptures tell us in Ecclesiastes 12:13 that the whole duty of man is to fear the Lord and to keep his commandments.
and again..
“25: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26: That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27: That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
Ephesians 5:25-27
What keeps a lot of these marriages together is worshiping Satan; celebrating Christmas, thanksgiving, the false image of Christ (blond haired, blue eyed lie), following the doctrines of Satan, Christianity, Islam etc. These couples can’t come before the God of Israel as a holy and spotless marriage… but we, the brothers and sisters in the truth can. We have been taught the keys to a successful marriage! (parts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 lol)

what if you made some mistakes in your marriage and your significant other can not forgive you, and loves to belittle you in front of the children.. and what if she is an older woman not acting her age..should i stay with a damage sole like that.

Yes, you should stay with your wife and work things out.

My fave part about this article is the section to the women that don’t respect their men. The ONLY way its gonna work in this wicked world is if they have a righteous brotha in the Truth, and i thank the Most High that i understand that….cuz this world is MADNESS!

It’s a blessing to be a Hebrew Israelite Jew. I cannot wait for the Speaking Engagement that will cover this topic on “Soul mates” For the Entertainment Industry it’s very hard for some of them to stay married under deception. Most of the relationships were a coverup to hide their hidden homosexuality. A coverup for the general public. I’m glad that God has taught his peolpe to follow the commandments. Thank God for keeping is Israelite women virtuous and in the truth. Thank the Lord for Proverbs 31 the map for us to follow and constantly try to replicate.
