Here is a question from a sister in Salem, OR:

Question, “I’m thinking about having children with my husband but my girlfriends keep telling me that once I have children that my life is over.  I was told that children are a blessing and that being barren was considered to be a reproach and a curse by God.  Is there a scripture that says the children are indeed a blessing?”

Answer - Sister, your life begins once you have children.  One of the first blessings given to man by Christ was the ability to reproduce in Genesis 1:28.  The scripture that you are looking for about children being a blessing is in the book of Psalm 127:3.  It reads “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward”.      Good question sis..

Here is a question from a concerned parent in North Portland:

Question, “Do you have any programs for my teenage son who is beginning to hang out more in the streets with the wrong crowd?”

Answer - Yes, we have a program for young men 12 years or older called the Hebrew Academy were boys are turned into men of God.  The program runs on Sundays from 8am – 5pm.  The program teaches young men discipline, laws of the Bible, histor of the Bible, the Hebrew language and English 101.  The program is free and we look forward to meeting your son.  For more information give us a call at (503) 282-1599.
